Paid Search is the process of displaying adverts within search engine result pages when certain keyphrases are searched. Advertisers associate a ‘bid’ with each keyphrase targeted and the higher the bid, coupled with the quality of your website, the higher the advert appears in the ‘Sponsored Links’ section of search engine results.

Costs are only incurred when a user actually displays interest in your advert by clicking on it, so you only pay for traffic relevant to your website.
